Hitting the ground running...

Gosh, this has been a flying start to the new school year. We hardly managed to touch the floor and the entire family was charging full speed ahead the minute we hit Paris.

Orientation and Open days at school, meeting new students, studying the new schedules, organising extra-curricular actives (ooops, there goes another cheque?!?). Coffee mornings and Welcome workshops for the parents to catch up with old friends and meet new families.

And then there are the evening events. Somehow, this year the December gala frenzy seems to have hit us in September. Don't get me wrong, I am not complaining, it has just been a sudden change in speed and ambiance. Ten days ago I was still hanging around at 40°C sipping "tinto de verano" in Spain.
